Ironmongery made for using not just for selling
There are now 2 Hinges & Brackets shops trading in and around Kent, as well as Sam Davey’s HBai architectural ironmongers from his unit, selling good quality architectural ironmongery, locks, fixings and fittings.
Hinges & Brackets have been supplying door handles, locks and window fittings since 1985, so we know a thing or two about how to make your home look good and work well with the proper ironmongery.
Quality Stuff. We sell lots of different stuff!
But most of all we try to make sure we provide good quality fittings that are built to last and appropriate for use. So feel free to ask for what you need since we sell loads more stuff than we show on this website or even in our shops.
Aladdin’s Cave. Our shops are often described as an Aladdins Cave, because they are crammed full of shiny twinkly brass, chrome, silver and even gold fittings in an array of old drawers. Despite the large range of things we show, there is far more we can get than we have on display.
Ancient and Modern. We are well known for supplying the old good quality fittings, such as Kirkpatricks black antique iron range and Frank Allart English made traditional brassware, but we also stock a modern range of stainless steel and chrome fittings for pocket sliding doors and the more contemporary modern designed space.
Buying our Stuff. The main way to get your hands on our knobs and other stuff is to pop into a shop near you. If you live and work further away then we are happy to send stuff via mail order. We currently have three separate internet websites providing our own Handmade Blacksmith Hinges and latches, and Black Iron Kirkpatrick fittings
